Tyra Banks.
Recoil. Eye roll. Embarrassed laugh.
I've heard it all over the years and I can imitate her voice at "panel" to perfection "5 beautiful girls stand before me...but I only have 4 photos in my hands..."
But cycle after cycle, week after week, drama after starving girl drama, I TUNE IN.
And here is why.....
I love the whole creativity process, from hair and makeup, fashion and costuming, and to the photographer and sets.
I am so thrilled while I see the magic behind the pictures.
Week after week I will watch, dream, be inspired, and imagine
and probably roll my eyes at Tyra.

I do watch ANTM, but man, some of the shoots just get weirder and weirder.
We all have our guilty pleasures!!! I love reality TV & ALL my family makes fun of me.
(Maybe I just need MORE DRAMA in my life, hahaha)
Hope you're doing well my friend!
I am so with you on this, love some of the pix, hate Tyra!

I often get sucked into ANTM marathons while running at the gym. I can admit that I often extend my workout just so I can keep watching.
Ditto. She makes me INSANE. But the end shots are so cool.
Totally Agree! Tyra is kookie but I LOVE the photo shoots and pictures. It truly is art.
I try to explain that to my husband, but he always manages to walk in when Tyra is being lame, or Miss J in all his ridiculousness. Plus he watches "The Soup" where they make fun of the show constantly. But I love me some ANTM!
Funny! My daughter loves to watch that so I could hear Tyra's words echoing in my head as you described.
Interesting but I just can't take Miss J though. Ugh!
GOOD AFTERNOON! I wanted to thank you for coming over from Deb's blog and her post on my bird wand!!!! Oh I love blogland; there is so much diverse creativity here and I simply am addicted! Have a magical day!!! Anita
Wow--I had no idea so many people watched for the same reasons I did. I also love Project Runway. The creations are absolutely yummy. Though it is crazy how the players have to be so creative in such a short timeline. A lot of them complain that they just don't have the time to do the job the way they would like to. Alas, much of life is that way, grabbing a few minutes here or there to create, and often deadlines looming. C'est la vie!
